One school of thought holds that in the contemporary society, the importance of teachers’ roles in the classroom has decreased because of the wide-ranging use of the computers in education. While I acknowledge the belief for this reasons, I would argue thar teachers still play a vital role.
On the one hand, it is understandable why some people believe that computers can substitute teachers. The key rationale in favor of this thinking is computer assists students to study at their own pace. Some students lag behind of their studies and bring the fear of disturbing teachers. However, simply with a computer and a click, students can easily understanding and acquiring knowledge. For example, by searching for revelant algebras on the Internet and synthesize it, students may understand the core and apply the same knowledge to others algebras in math. For these reasons, the belief that computers can replace teachers seems perfectly justifiable.
On the other hand, despite the fact that computers can uphold students, teachers holds great significance. To begin with, they play an important role on encouraging students to be a last long learners. They are not just give lessons to their students, but also a mentor to them, inspire them to try their best instead of giving up. In addition to this, by seeking the way students study, teachers can adjust the teaching methods that cutting out with students. For instance, in science class, while computers simulate the experimentation, it is the teacher who encourage, foster them with pictorial representation.
In conclusion, while computers aid students in learning snd acquiring knowledge, I strongly believe that teachers prove to be indipensable and cannot be replaced.
