Nowadays, more and more people are being concerned about environmental problems so they insist that international communities and governments should act immediately to ensure that all nations reduce consumption of fossil fuels like gas and oil. I completely agree with this statement because such idea may prevent many global environmental problems all around the world.
Critics of this approach may say that such idea can make daily life uncomfortable because even getting to work on a car may become expensive as gas and oil are going to cost a lot more. They also say that for developing countries it may be simply unaffordable to invest in new eco friendly technologies, making this transition more difficult. But in my opinion, if humanity would not act immediately to saving our own planet, the consequences of such choice in our own “favour” may end sadly. Some people get too worried about rising prices but forget that humanity is the only one who can save our planet by taking such drastic measures.
As for the impact of reducing usage of fossil fuels all around the world, the main one is improving of air quality. In many countries, this problem is the most common, so this approach can have a good effect not only on environment but also on residents’ health. Additionally, this can slow climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This approach can also help people to conserve non-renewable resources for future generations and create good living conditions for them.
In conclusion, saving our eco system by reducing consumption of fossil fuels on a global scale can not only have a positive impact on environment but also create a better life conditions for us and our future kids.
