It is universally accepted that The Internet has brought significant changes to our lives. Although there are some arguments about the overall impact of the Internet, I’m of the opinion that the changes Internet has brought to our lives have been mostly positive and in this essay is shall explain my reasons.
First of all, access to information has never been more convenient. Before the advent of The Internet gathering data for researches could take months or even years. Nowadays thank to the Internet we carry any information that we might need during the day in our pockets wherever we go. Moreover, the Internet Has revolutionized the way we communicate with one another. Nowadays we can reach out to our beloved ones visually even if they are thousands of miles away and we have the opportunity to attend work meetings from home or even another country.
Undoubtedly, not all the information and contents in the Internet are beneficial and valid. In addition there are even some contents that can be harmful and disturbing which should be restricted for certain ages. Nonetheless, the Internet has become an essential tool during our daily life and it cannot be eliminated. From my point of view, with proper education we can teach our youngsters how to utilize this technology properly and efficiently and we can overcome challenges around this new world.
By way of conclusion, I would like to restate that even there are some negative aspects to this technology, it cannot be eliminated due to its importance in the way we collect data and the way we communicate; and its overall impact has been positive mainly since its beneficial effects outweigh its drawbacks by far.
