In my opinion, the internet has caused dramatic changes in our lives in recent years. However, there is some disagreement about whether the overall effect of the internet has been negative or positive. So I will discuss aspects of both of them in this essay.
On the one hand, one of the major benefits of this technology is that people from faraway places can easily access information about everything at the click of a button, which has helped people to increase their general knowledge. In addition, universities and science institutes through this technology have significantly grown successfully, for example, all the pupils at universities have used the internet for presentations. Furthermore, using the internet is faster, easier, and more affordable than other ways to revolutionize our knowledge, for instance, the earlier times, people referred to the library to find special papers this way so time consuming and expensive but nowadays you can read the books on online library on a moment.
On the other hand, in recent years most of us have benefited greatly from the internet for our contact, indeed, video calls or voice calls have improved the way we communicate, but, sometimes people how to spend too much time on social media, rather than relating with other people in the real world. I think it is the biggest disadvantage, because of leads us to social isolation. Besides, the internet has no restrictions for children specially adolescents, in fact, they are so curious and might search any things online that is not suitable for them so, it can be offensive and dangerous for youner.
In conclusion, as can be seen from the point made in this essay there are both advantages and disadvantages to using the internet, however, I feel that overall the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
