As technology takes steps toward development, the Internet has greatly changed our lives over a few decades. Even though some changes have negative effects but the overall effect has been positive. In my perception, benefits of the Internet outweigh its drawbacks. My preference is justified in the upcoming paragraphs.
The fundamental reason for my inclination is that, the internet alters our way of communication. To begin with, people nowadays can communicate with their friends and family without facing the barrier of time and distance. Moreover, with the help of messaging software, public make their own network and through that they can easily find the solution of any problem. The World Wide Web has placed the entire world’s data at our fingertips.
Furthermore, the Internet not only makes communication easier, but also facilitates trade. In the past, multinational companies not grow because the lack of connections, but today they can meet on a regular basis over the Internet. Besides this, students and workers also join in live meetings while the critical conditions occur. For instance, at the time of COVID-19, many pupils completed their study online using the Internet.
On the contrary, the downside should not be disregarded. Commencing with more use of the Internet for entertainment may cause unemployment. Also, hackers can easily hack the data of computers or other smart devices using the Internet; leads to financial or mental effects on the victim. Excessive screen time can lead to health problems like eye stain or obesity.
By way of conclusion, the Internet also has negative sides but positive sides are far outweigh drawbacks because they make life comfortable and easier with the help of data.
