It is argued that governments should spend much on essential public services rather than space programmes. In my opinion, it depends on the development levels of countries.
There are several reasons that it is unnecessary for underdeveloped areas to advance space technique. Firstly, there are numerous existing problems need to be solved. For instance, it is imperative to improve people’s living standards and enhance quality of life. Secondly, the financial burden will be deteriorated and it is essential to strength the level of public services. For example, teaching techniques and medical conditions is more urgent to be improved. Thirdly, the product such as navigator or internet can pay to countries who own corresponding technologies to derive services.
As for the well-developed countries, the spacing should be funded by governments rather than essential public services. First and foremost, developing space techniques makes them keep ahead of scientific advancement. For example, vegetables used for gene researches are considered as another alternative food supply for people . Moreover, exploration on the possibilities on living other planets can effectively provide solutions to the overwhelming population on the earth. Importantly, the navigation system we use in our car or mobile phone relies on the space station, which must hold and maintain for a long time. Furthermore, triumphs on space are able to enrich people’s spiritual life that we can insist on discovering the similar life form as us.
In conclusion, I believe that there are a range of advantages for exploration on space and benefits from researches on space will be taken to all of us.
