It is disputable that drug abuse at a young age has become a great issue in recent days. I genuinely believe that this matter appeared by several causes. This essay will discuss the possible causes of this behaviour and give my suggestion to solve this matter.
On the one hand, drug abuse is easily happening to the teenager because of several reasons. Firstly, free promiscuity becomes the first rank of my thesis. The young generation lives apart from their parents for school or work and tends to feel free in their friendships. For example, when gathering in some of their friends’ boarding homes, they are easily influenced by others to try this drug for the first time unconsciously. They do not recognize that this first trial of the drug may affect their body’s metabolism and will respond to another need for consumption. It means that wrong friendships may lead teenagers to risk drug issues. In addition, the high use of social media may lead the young generation to be caught in drug behaviour. For instance, by using social media in a bad manner intensively, sometimes it can have bad effects for young people to get lots of drug information. Consuming this information will increase the curiousity of teenagers about the impact of drug use.
To solve this problem, some suggestions may be mentioned to propose a better life for teenagers. Firstly, some believe that by giving good attention and awareness to those teenagers who live apart from their homes. Adults have to be more concerned to protect young ages from the dangers of drugs. Some believe that this young generation must be put away from the risks of drugs. Secondly, others believe that bringing a good education on drugs will reduce the spreading of this bad behaviour. For instance, every school and university must be socialized routinely about the dangerous effects of drug consumption.
In a nutshell, the dangerous effects of drug consumption must become our awareness, especially among the young generation. Some causes of uncontrolled promiscuity and more intensive on using social media can lead to an increasing number of drug abuse. Therefore, some efforts by giving good attention and providing better information on the drug’s effect may solve this problem to prepare teenagers to become good generations.
