I firmly believe that science is a double-edged sword, that needs to be manged with morals and ethics. Furthermore, I will be elaborating on the reasons that support this point of view.
Undoubtedly science has improved quality of life especially through medicine. Breakthroughs in medical science as antibiotics, vaccines and advanced surgical techniques, all helped revolutionize our healthcare resulting in the extension of the human life span. For instance, people in the past not only used to die from simple infections but also from slight injuries that can be easily treated today.
On the other hand, science without strong ethics or moral compass can lead to disastrous consequences. As Scientists advance in building humanity, they can not can not foresee how people might use their inventions and knowledge in dishonorable actions and wrongdoings.

In conclusion, the essence of scientific findings should elevate humanity. Despite the immoral uses of scientific innovations, it still can exponentially improve our lives. I wholeheartedly believe that with strong law enforcement and sense of responsibility, science can alleviate suffering in addition to playing indispensable role in advancing human life.
