The pie charts demonstrate the annual receival and expenditure of monetary funds by a children’s charity in the U.S. The charity received a total amount of $53,561,580 in revenue from various sources and spent $53,224,896. Inferring that the revenue exceeded the outgoings.
To begin with, almost 87% of the money was sourced from donated food. While program services accounted for the most expenditure which was more than 95% of the total. Similarly, the second major contribution was from community contributors, whose donations made up 10% of the overall income. However, program revenue, investment income, and government grants were some other resources from which the rest of the money was obtained. Fundraising and management and general disbursements accounted for the rest of the spending. Which were 2.6% and 1.6% respectively.
Overall, the annual outlay was less than the total money collected. And the categories on which the money was spent were also fewer than the sources collected. Whereas, there were more connections for funds collection.
