It is argued that the prevention of health issues and diseases is more beneficial than cure, and authorities need to focus funding on this field. In my opinion, I totally agree with this notion, as carrying out a healthy lifestyle and organizing sports programs are much more essential.
To begin with, if the government concentrates funding on different methods and conferences that are suitable and beneficial to society’s health, the authority should not spend more money on treatment or medicine. With organized sports programs, people want to go there in order to live a healthy life. Therefore, the government should regularly invest money in sports facilities to improve individuals’s health. By doing this, the government is able to save its budget for expensive treatments. For example, in the field of medicine, the cost of treatment is expensive for society’s budget, and establishing similar sports classes is the best way for both governments and people’s conditions.
In addition, there is another way of preventing health problems, which is to exercise constantly. In doing so, an individual can save his time and budget as well. People who always do diverse exercises for a prolonged time tend to be less diseased throughout their entire lives. For instance, individuals who engage in regular exercise, including walking or jogging, often experience fewer colds compared to sedentary ones. This is because exercise stimulates the production of antibodies and white blood cells, which are essential components of the immune system.
To sum up, it is said that prevention is better than cure as it saves the budget of individuals and governments, and there are also other ways of retaining health issues, such as organizing sports programs and doing regular exercises
