The world health council offers that people should consume five or more slices of fruits and vegetables each day and the bar chart illustrates the rate of men and women in the UK by age group in 2006.
Overall, the consumption of healthy fruits and vegetables generally increased with age, except after age 65 of groups.It is also clear that females led the pack across all age groups.
The general trend is for the percentage of eating natural produces peaked in the beginning of old age group. The youngest group in the graph had the lowest percentage merely 15 for males and 16 for females . Moreover, consumption of men and women was 20% and 22 %respectively among adults.In middle age group , the rate was 22% for fathers and 25% for mothers.Furthermore, from 45 to 54 age of people who had healthy diet increased slightly for females by 2 % , that was remained stable for males.
The age group of people whose age between 55 and 64 showed the highest percentage for both gender among all age groups namely 32 and 34%. 27 and 29% of people fed fruits and vegetables among from 65 to 74 ages . Interestingly, the eldest eaters gave the same proportion for either gender , clearly 25%.
