Seeking to settle in developed countries is the aim of an increased number of economic and political refugees. While developed nations should take a greater number of refugees because they can be provide these people with safer and financially stable life opportunities, financial aids and investing in developing countries can be other alternative solutions.
Developed nations should take more refugees under their care to provide them with basic life necessities. Refugees fleeing from war-torn countries travel cross borders and go through hardship seeking safety in other places. More over, economic refugees seek better job opportunities that pays decent amount to cover basic life needs. Consequently, they can enhance the economy of the cited nation by working in different domains. For instance, during the Syrian crises, refugees who flee to Germany and were given the asylum, worked in various disciplines, and the government reported a significant economic growth accordingly.
However, other solutions can be implemented, such as external effort to diminish political conflicts. Developed nations with high position can put effort in settling the political matters and call for a war truce, for the sake of the citizens interest. In addition, privileged nations can invest in developing countries. Investing provides job opportunities for people in their home countries rather than migrating to another place. For example, the United Arab Emirates has established the calling center and head-quarters of its primary telecommunicating company ,Etisalat, in Egypt, which offered job opportunities to thousands of Egyptians.
In conclusions, developed countries should take an increase number of refugees to provide them with life’s basic needs, however; other solutions are found, such as having a call in political conflicts and investing in developing nations.
