Nowadays, children prioritize to spend their free time in shopping centers rather than doing organized activities such as sport or music. While this trend has some benefits, I firmly believe that it is a negative development.
Proponents of this trend cite various reasons to support their viewpoint. First of all, when youngsters spend time with their peers, it can be a great way to socialize and relax which cam be beneficial for their overall well-being. This can ultimately lead to improving communication skills, thereby developing social connections. In addition, if there bad weather, they can spend their time in malls regardless of conditions, thus making accessible to play different kind of games. Consequently, this facilities can encourage young people to go shopping centers, which is an attractive option for them.
Despite the advantages above, I deem that there are some drawbacks that can outweigh benefits in the long run. First and foremost, by spending too much time in malls, children will become less active, which can lead to unhealthy lifestyle. As a consequence, their concretion can decrease. Moreover, when children allocate more time for entertainments instead of doing beneficial activities, they can reduce their imagination and creativity. This can ultimately lead to weakening skills .
To conclude, although spending time in shopping centers can be beneficial, I consider that doing organized activities can be god way to improve critical thinking as well as some important skills.
