Owing to the globalization in the food Industries, it has led the transportation of a number of Foods over long distance before reaching to their consumers. There are many reasons behind this phenomenon and I concur that it is a beneficial development. The narrative ahead shall articulate the reasons behind it as well as my belief before arriving to a rational conclusion.
To commence with the causes of the given notion, one of the main reason is an increasing demand. In other words ,some countries may not have an appropriate fertile land and due to this , the people from these countries may suffer in terms of food and somewhere it generates a demand of imports. Moreover, the needs of consumers is also a considerable factor as many people want variety of food and options in such items.to explain this , Italy is one of the well-known place for dairy products, it exports its dairy products such as a variety of chocolates and other items globally, so it not only help them in term of boosting their economy but also provides a relish to the consumers.
I consider that the transportation of food has many merits as first and foremost it helps nations to boost their economy. In other words, any country which has more fertile land or contains more variety of items that attracts people and the demand may increase and through exportation, this country can boost its financial stability. For example, India grows a plethora of spices and because of it demands globally, currently india has become a self made individual country. Furthermore, it provides an availability of food through out the year irrespective of the seasons and because of transportation, the relationship between two nations can also increase through imports and exports.
In conclusion, although, this trend contains some cons ,personally I believe that it is a positive development as it helps in economic growth and provides consumer a kind of relish.
