Band 4+: Today more and more tourists are visiting places where conditions are difficult, such as the Sahara desert or the Antarctic. What are the advantages and disadvantages for tourists who visit such places? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Nowadays, plenty of tourists are traveling to visit some of the popular destination such as the Sahara Desert or the Antarctic despite of the climates. In this essay, I would like to discuss my personal perspective about this phenomenon.

First and foremost, based on the given statement above, I believe that the benefits of visiting those tourist attractions for others are happiness. For example, some visitors are travelling because they want to fulfil their dreams. Secondly, other people is choosing this destination because this is included in their bucket list to travel. According to the news, every month of July and August a plenty of tourists are visiting this place which increase the economy of that places.

However, there are some disadvantages for the tourists. Based on the research, many people who visited this places such as the Sahara Desert, like many cases of venomous snake bites are recorded in this place. Authorities are now providing information about this situation. On the other hand, visiting to Antarctic have also disadvantages. For example, the movie “The Everest” due to the cold climates, travelers died in that movie because of the cold temperature.

Reflecting on my own experience, I also travel abroad to visit some of the famous destination. In traveling different places, you need to be cautions and do not hesitate to ask if you know nothing.

In conclusion, Travelling can make you happy and to avoid some problems in life. It provides you joy and a feeling of fulfilment. It also helps the economy of certain places.
