Nowadays, enormous youngsters can not find stable occupations after leaving university. The aim of this essay is to examine the underlying influences of unemployment and propose several methods to handle this conundrum.
Admittedly, there are numerous impacts of youth unemployment. Firstly, these young individuals have to deal with financial burden. To elaborate, these youngsters would struggle with their daily expenses or electric bills due to having no jobs. Therefore, they have to depend on their family or governmental financial support which would soon put them in the underprivileged background.
Moreover, it is about a national economic crisis. For example, the lack of young workforces, especially in this digital era, would lessen the professional and skilled labour in the technological field to adapt to a competitive market. As a consequence, youth unemployment would lead to obsolete skills and poor innovation in various industries, significantly slowing down economic development.
However, there are some proposals to solve this problem. One of the effective ways is that youngsters need to learn more about practical skills. For instance, proactively learning other languages could offer young people opportunities to apply for numerous positions in big companies which require bilingual or multilingual employees. As a result, these personal enhancements would provide the youth certain potential abilities to attract employers. Furthermore, the university could integrate job trials in the primary curriculum. To be specific, youngsters have more chances to work in a real environment with pressure and strain activities in the workplace, thus acquiring multidimensional perspectives in jobs and enhancing working adaptation.
In conclusion, while I acknowledge that there are several factors of youth unemployment, some methods such as learning practical skills or improving university’s curriculum could effectively solve this phenomenon.
