The demand for travel and tourism is steadily increasing. While some individuals may view travel as a mere affirmation of their existing knowledge, I argue that it significantly contributes to the development of one’s knowledge.
I strongly believe that tourism offers a unique avenue for individuals to expand their knowledge, distinct from the passive act of reading or watching. Through travel, individuals are afforded the opportunity to personally immerse themselves in the culture, climate, and customs of the regions they visit, rather than relying on second-hand information or external influences.
While travel reviewers or television series may attempt to capture certain aspects of local customs and lifestyle, their portrayal is often limited and potentially biased. Furthermore, one can only truly understand and appreciate local food and cuisine by indulging in it first-hand, rather than simply reading about it. Ultimately, engaging in face-to-face interactions with residents provides the most authentic and comprehensive understanding of a region’s culture.
In conclusion, I believe that travelling can be a part of acquiring more knowledge and to relax yourself from the external tension of work.
