Nowadays, a growing number of people prefer getting transported foods by farms which were located of miles away. Many consumers hold the view that consuming dishes from local farms would be better for environment and the economy. Although there could be some drawbacks related to this trend, I still argue that positive aspects are far greater.
On the one hand, consumption of transported meals have a bunch of benefits. From an economic standpoint, this development help to keep balance between countries. There is no lies that western areas consumed eastern foods or vice versa. Every part of earth has unique geograpy and climate conditions. Especially, soil is different in each area. If some province does not have exotic fruits, these provinces will be able to provide it to others. For example, eastern countries such as Vietnam produced a lot of rice which was delivered to Syngopur.
On the other hand, transported foods from far away is not without drawbacks. There is a problem with money and the local labor force which will relate with unemployment. If individuals did not have any works, employees would leave their jobs. To illustrate, the number of people in China prefer the durians and this fruit also was grown by Vietnamese. Now China has rival, also a lot of consumers tend to purchase the foreign ones. The next issue is environmental pollution. This is easy to understand, because the food would be delivered by air, ships and so on.
In conclusion, the prons and cons remain the same level in humans life. Personally, I believe that consuming foods shipped from distant territory outweight the disadvantages.
