Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, a small amount of free time is spent by some parents with their children. This essay will discuss why this trend occurs and argue that it mostly has effect on development of children rather than parents.

Some parents can have a busy schedule due to the work. Most of the time they spend at work and go back to a home only when child sleeps. There are also jobs which require several weeks of non-stop working. For example, oil specialists are needed to go to outside of a city or even to the another city to work in areas, where the oil is located. Another reason of being parents little time with their children is lack of responsibility. It means parents are not prepared for life with family including children. It can be due to their ages or other characteristics, like personality or life principles. Such young parents prefer to spend time with friends or in social media. As a result, some children’s upbringing is formed by their grandparents or babysitters.

This negatively affects development of the child. Relationships between parents and children are very essential, as it forms personality of child and improves mental health. According to researches, most of children who do not get enough attention and support from their own parents suffer from some psychological disorders. For instance, Kazakh film “Road to the mom” shows how feelings of child remain strong even after 10 years of separation. Consequently, children growing with enough support from parents are more likely to achieve success and be healthy mentally.

To sum up, parents spend little time with their children mostly because of busy work and shortage of full understanding of responsibility for child. This has negative impact for child’ growth, leading to difficulties in relationships with parents and some psychological problems.
