Although a high salary assists with countless advantages, such as enhancing lifestyle, there are also disadvantages as it makes a person materialistic. In my opinion, job satisfaction is more important because it provides passion for work and reduces depression and anxiety.
On the one hand, a high salary in a job allows us to open doors to everything. It completes our dream life and turns it into reality. For example, people who get a high salary never need to think about money. They are allowed to admit their children to the best schools, and they can take the best medical care services from anywhere. Even though money can drive a person in a negative way and lead to isolation, those who work for a high salary are often materialistic. Some workers just work for money and do overtime; by doing this, they never think about anything other than money, which harms humankind. So, while a high salary gives various opportunities, some workers get stuck in this cycle.
On the other hand, those who do their job with satisfaction are more engaged in their work because they love what they do, and there are numerous benefits to that. For instance, satisfied workers are more passionate about their work, and they never get bored, which brings them achievement in life. Moreover, employees who are passionate about their jobs rarely suffer from depression or anxiety. For example, research demonstrates that employees who are passionate about their jobs occasionally experience mental pressure, which, in turn, encourages their work.
Lastly, although money is important, I firmly believe that job satisfaction is more valuable because it provides peace of mind and a passionate lifestyle.
In conclusion, wealth can fulfill our desired life, but there is a probability that money can influence workers to forget about personal life and always be occupied with work. Therefore, I believe that job satisfaction supplies us with a peaceful and passionate lifestyle.
