Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries and contributes a good deal to economies among the world. However, the damage tourism can cause to local cultures and the environment is often ignored. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Travel Industry is a business which develops quickly and has huge impact on economies worldwide. Although, the destruction to local traditions and surrounding atmosphere due to tourism is out of concern. I strongly disagree with this ascertain, because tourism helps to develop and advertise the significance of local culture and create employment opportunities as well as contribute to protect the nature.
The main reason why I disagree with this statement because of tourist business local culture tradition are preserved by our societies. Nowadays, people are influenced by western modern culture and that cause a huge destruction in our own culture. But due to tourism industry, various community started preserving their language, customs, traditions and rituals to attract national as well as international visitors. Tourism plays great role in preserving as well as advertising local cultures from ancient days either in community or in museums.
The another reason I disagree with this notion is because tourism creates employment as well as environmental development. Expansion of tourism creates employment opportunities among people who lived here. Tourism helps people to become financially succeed people with higher education. It serves a strong benefit to the community in various ways to preserve nature as well and for the popular and success tourism provides social and national contribution portion of their profits as social and national contribution which is itself a great and natural refreshing and increase contribution to the visitors many from inside as well as outside the country service.
