It is argued that traditionally knowledge centers for historical and cultural issues were museums. However, museums have become obsolete because the internet is used widely. I agree with this statement because the internet more affordable than attending the museums, as well as there are a huge amount of the cultural information on the internet that can cover all needings of museum visitors.
The first reason why museums are less popular is that the internet is not demand big amount of money and time. Usually museum’s tickets cost high that is not affordable for all people, also it takes more time to find convenient day to visit museum while the internet is available everywhere today. For example according to museum’s cite entrance is allowed only weekend and cost twice higher that monthly payment for the internet.
The second reason why museums have become obsolete is that the internet provide wide range of world museums that can be knowed by the internet. There are increasing number of YouTube channels. TV programs dedicated to culturel events. For instance study programs include online visits famous Europe museums and culturel centers where not every students can afford them to go there.
To conclude, the increasing use of the internet lead to decrease a role of museums that were the source of historical and cultural aspects for a long period due to the fact that the internet does not expence, affordable for everyone, as well as world’s historical and culturel information is widespread in the latest technology.
