University education provides a gateway to knowledge and career prospects for undergraduates while there is an ongoing argument that universities should enroll the same proportion of male and female pupils in every stream. I disagree with this statement and in this essay, İ will explain some reasons with the support of examples.
Firstly, the universities should admit students according to their performance rather than their gender which prevents injustice for the good performers. As well as it averts the plethora of poor experts in the society in future. For instance, there are numerous plane crashes due to the increased number of female pilots. Therefore, the universities should consider determining factors like performance rather than gender.
Secondly, there is the majority of subjects which are not only suitable but also specialized for males and females. The streams for men should consist of various qualities, abilities as well as skills such as physical fitness, quick decision-making skill, problem-solving talents, communication skills, and so on. However, fields for women should have some other qualities and skills like patience, neatness, well-organizing skills, intelligence, attraction as well as multitasking skills. For example, maintenance and technical fields are more suitable for men meanwhile bridal dressing stream is more appropriate for women. So key to success is not determined by an equal percentage of men and women in significant fields.
In conclusion, I disagree with permitting a similar percentage of men and women students for higher studies in every field. Because they should be considered performance and admit students to gender-specialized fields are the key to success.
