Media have played an important role in our society from centuries, it is believed to be the 4th and one of the irreplaceable pillar of democracy since the advancement of the societies took place. However, uprise in the cases of violence can be seen from last decade which led us to a controvercieal debate among different group of people, one side some believe violence in media encourage hate in our society whereas, others believes that it is important for every to see what is happening in our county without any filters. In my opinion, sharing violence on any type of media whether it is new channels, social media or newspaper helps spreading hate among citizens and encourage hate feeling in them. In this essay I will be elaborating my views and thus lead to a logical conclusion.
First and the foremost reason behind it is that if the people see vounerable content any means of media creates imbalance in the society thus leading us to sharing that and spreading hate among others. Therefore, it can result in riots around the country. For instance, in New Delhi, India last year two different individuals of another religion got engaged in an argument later converted into a fight and by the end of the day this incident was viral on social media which later resulted in roits. It cannot be ignored that media played a significant role in sparing the riots.
Probing ahead, one of the main underlying reasons stems from the fact is that people from all age group are linked with media. It is pertinent to mention that teenagers are more likely to get impacted which inappropriate content and can shape the overall mind development. . On top of that, fake news can be cloned. Apart from the reason mentioned above it can be clearly stated that why I lean towards opposing violence telecasting on media.
To conclude, sharing to much of an incident can be dangerous for the well being of our society as it also impact the mindset of different age group in a negative manner.
