During my life, I interfered with different communities but no one was more effective than my boarding school community -STEM-.
Before I joined the school, I was very sensitive to shocks produced by failures, especially in my studies like not getting high scores. This grows in a lot of circumstances. For example, this leads to disconfidence and fear from failing, as well as thinking that all the others are better than me.
Afterward, I joined STEM school, dealing with different students who I stayed with day and night. This was only able to change my personality upside down. For further illustration, I found them after they do bad on their exam, they take it easy and even make fun of their mistakes. They know that they have nothing to do with that and know that wasting time in blaming themselves is useless. However, this also doesn’t mean that they didn’t learn from their mistakes. For me, I learned to deal with failure as it’s nothing that can make me sad or depressed and trying each time till the end.
On the other hand, the variety of students inside the community encouraged me to learn that each one has his weaknesses and strengths, some students are perfect only at playing football, meanwhile others can get the highest grades with less effort in studying. This taught me that no one is complete, and there must be others who are better than me in a specific field, but that doesn’t mean they are better than me overall. So, I decided to just focus on myself and find my strengths to practice and my weaknesses to be able to overcome them.
Overall, that community had great impact on me: changing me from immature person to wise and patient man.
