In modern times, having a lot of relatives are becoming more and more common topic. Especially in my country it’s quite widespread situation. But what are the benefits and drawbacks of this situation? In this Essay i’ll discuss about advantages and disadvantages of having numerous relative and to make some conclusion.
On the one hand, having a lot of family ties consists two drawbacks. And one of them is criticism. This situation is popular in my country. For example if you did something for good purposes, but it doesn’t fit into our culture, you will be judged seriously. I had experienced one situation, when I published a documentary film about great compatriots from the past, for the purposes of make them popular or i just wanted to whole world knew, what great Uzbeks had been in our earth. So i was really criticized when i had decided to talk them about it.
Second drawback is that you can not give everyone enough time and by doing it you can offend some of them. For instance I have a lot of relatives from mother’s side and father’s side. My kins from my mother’s side live in Andijan, so because of this i don’t have sufficient opportunity to visit them, due to I live in Tashkent. My relatives from dad’s side live in Tashkent, therefore i have more opportunities to visit them. Knowing this my relatives from mom’s side are offended by me. And this makes me uncomfortable.
On the other hand it has three good sides. First contains support from your relatives. That is, when you are in a trouble situation, your relatives will help you. I remember when i ran out of money, and i was in a hopeless situation and i was forced to call them and they helped me. Second benefit and i think the best benefit is memories. Having a lot of relatives, you just enjoy spending time with them. For instance I really feel calm and happy when i’m with my kins, we do something, that becomes to the expensive memory. Third good side about horizon. By this i mean, that if you have a lot of relatives, you will have rich mindset. For example if you are puzzled in something, you can immediately ask for advice from your kins, and they will help you.
To sum up having a large number of kins will not lead to anything bad. On the contrary, it’s a good thing. But it also depends on what relatives you have.
