Advantage And Disadvantage

Band 6+: What are the advantages and disadvantages of living in urban areas?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In this day and age, a number of people live in villages. Nevertheless, some people believe there are more disadvantages to living in towns. However, others are opposed to this idea. In this essay, I will explain both opinions.

On the one hand, there are a number of drawbacks to living in towns. There are some communal problems in the villages. For instance, electrical, water, and gas problems. In light of this, some residents complain to the government to solve these issues. In addition, these problems prevent them from improving themselves. For example, without electricity, humans who live in the town cannot work with the internet and they cannot use innovative technologies. Without fresh water, they may become ill. Without gas, they cannot use cookers; due to this, they are unable to cook cuisines. Moreover, to this day, educational courses and health facilities have not been built. Thanks to this, so far, some people do not have jobs, and because there are no hospitals, a number of people are still sick. The government should make amends to solve these issues.

On the other hand, many people believe there are a lot of benefits to living in villages, and people emigrate to towns. For instance, there are a plethora of plants and trees; in light of this, villages have pretty fresh air. Residents who live in the town are pretty friendly to plants and trees; the particular reason for this circumstance is that plants and trees give us fresh air. If some people try to cut trees, residents would punish those people. Additionally, there are a lot of natural products, for example: fresh milk products, vegetables, fruits, and etc. The most important aspect is that villages have extremely stunning landscapes compared to other places. In this landscape, you can see mountains, pretty tall trees, unique houses, and others.

From my personal perspective, people have various opinions about living in villages. However, we will continue living in villages as long as some people emigrate and immigrate to villages to live there.
