Band 4+: What are the advantages and disadvantages of the problem-based way of learning?

This essey will discuss the positive end negative effects of method education on problem. Nowadays, many popular university use this modern learning . This topic has both positive and negative sides .

On the one hande , there are several advantages of studing on issue . Firstly , it prepare students for real life . For exemple , Harvard University conducted a survey «Which way for education help you in future?» , 83% students think that problem-based learning helps them on work more than lecture.Secondly , it develops teamwork skills . This means that , when students work together they can share a new important information and it can bring closer people .

On the other hande , learning on problem also has some disadvantages . The main drawback is it takes a lot of time for a good work. For instance , according to an article by High Scool of Economics this way need a lot of time for study than a traditional education. Another negative aspect is it can difficult for some students , many people has not a create skills for a modern aducation . As a result , students lost important information before work , if they not hear a lecture and read a book .

In conclusion , the way on problem- basede of study have a sagnificant impact and harmful. The positive aspects are preparation for future and skills work in group. However it alos has a spend too much time and not for many people.
