It is often argued that work wage is the most crucial factor in selecting job. From my perspective, I disagree with this statement, and I think that there are other many factors could be equal in their importance.
High salaries might be vital due to many reasons. Initially, owing to the increasing rate of inflation nowadays, getting an adequate salary could be more than important for economical stability. High paid jobs often cover life expenses, including rent, bills and groceries. Furthermore, with this high increase in taxes and interest rates many people should search for higher salaries to afford their home mortgage, car maintenance as well as health care and education. If people did not get sufficient salaries, they would search for other high wages or seek extra work to gain more money.
Other factors that could be also important rather than salaries. Firstly, many employees usually need appreciation and gratitude from their managers for their effectiveness and work quality. If clerks did not get the appreciation that they deserve, this would affect them negatively, and they would lose passion to work. Moreover, many people prefer to work in the field of their interest. Thus, they might be more creative and productive, and they could achieve all the requested targets on time. These employees could get promotion fast and achieve many prestigious positions.
By way of conclusion, many people think that high wages is the most critical criteria when it comes to selecting a position. From my perspective I hold the notion that salary is crucial for jobs election especially in nowadays high cost of living; however, I also believe that there are many factors which could be equally important, such as self value and work passion.
