Nowadays, tourist attractions in Thailand, such as temples, Icon Siam, and department stores, are most popular among the national people. The advocates of this view argue that international tourism offers have many advantages. Others, however, disagree and believe that international people cause issues and effects on both people and the environment. Both sides of the opinions will be shown with advantages and disadvantages in this essay.
To begin with, the tourism sector was one of the main engines of the Thai economy before the COVID era. This is directly reflected in tourist revenue. When international tourists come toThailand they spend money on, for example, hotels, food, and other requirements, leading to economy recovery and economic stimulus. In addition, this spending helps solve problems of deflation, causing benefits to governments, populations, and foreigners. Good relationships bring about smiling and happiness in Thailand.
On the other hand, when tourists to travel any place, they are negligent and throw plastic garbage everywhere, causing environmental issues and harming animals; for instance, climate change is due to trash and animal extinction. In furthermore, a lot of tourists coming to the city make to crowed populations and traffic jams. At the same time, merchants and vendors in markets sell high prices and very expensive to foreigners, causing Thai people not to want to buy.
In summary, in conclusion, although there are several drawbacks to welcoming the foreign tourism industry, it is unavoidable that the growth and development of jobs and the economy are effects of the expansion. I personally believe that there are more the pros outweigh than the cons.
