People have different views about whether wild animals shoud be protected in today’s world or whether it is wasteful endeavor to save wild animals. I strongly agree with the former view, asserting that wild animals should be preserved.
For a variety of reasons, it would be wrong to say that saving wild animals is a waste of resources in the contemproray world. Firstly, because og being sentients, wild animals should be safeguarded, which means they have the inherent right to live on our planet. Secondly, without wild animals, the entity would be mundane and uninspiring. Take Cheeths and tigers, for example, once they have been observed growling in their natural habitat, elicits a sense of wonder and joy among humans. So that, in the 21st century, saving wild animals should be instilled into societies, and this value should be a top priority in every region.
On the other hand, some individuals claim that it would be a waste of resources in the 21st century to save wild animals, citing the importance of directing the funds and energy towards education, healthcare, and other pressing issues. However, I find this argument unconvincing as there is nothing special about the 21st century to allow us to encourage the extinction of wild animals or let them to die out. Furthermore, they are an integral part of a nation’s culture, and they encapsulate the historical and traditional richness of a society. For instance, Girraffee and Lions serve as iconic symbols of African culture.
In conclusion, in my opinion, wild animals should be saved in every era because they have intrinsic right to live, and add diversity to the environment. Moreover, each animal contributes significantly to a nation’s identity, they should, therefore, be protected.
