Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, using modern devices such as smartphones, tablets, labtops or some tools attached to the Internet of things is becoming increasily popular among a large number of people. In this essay I shall discuss both positive and negative consequences which this trend could bring in equal measure.

To begin with, it goes without saying that smart technologies are making our live more comfortable and coping with people’s daily routine far faster. More specifically, it is no longer nessesary to stay in long and painful queues to pay the bills or order delivery instead of going to a cafe ot a resraurant for food. Moreover, there are a variety of issues that rocket technologies such as artificial intelligent can perform much more accurately and easier than a human. One small example is detection of suspicious activity in the banking application. Hence, these devices can be considered indispensable in our time.

On the other hand, more and more fans of fashionable devices are beginning to suffer from dependence on them. Eventually, they may even need specialized medical care and it can also lead to vision problems. In addition, youngsters could in some degree lose communication and socialization skills. Obviously, already now many of us, for example, are afraid to call and talk on the phone.

In conclusion, the growing popularity of fashionable devices and smart tools and even the introduction of artificial intelligence into our daily lives can bring both positive and harmful effects to people’s physical and mental health and the fulfillment of daily tasks and, should be well-considered by the government to prevent mass addiction.
