In the modern world, the high level of arificial intellignece propagation often sparks debates between those who view it as beneficial and helpful, and those who feel threatened by AI’s omnipresence. Even though I understand the concerns of the latter, I believe that implementing AI into one’s work routine is highly advantageous.
First of all, a pragrmatic use of artificial intelligence actually creates conditions for a more meaningful work proccess. Delegating mundane tedious tasks to AI, which are inevitable in all kinds of jobs, allows one to concentrate on more meaningful decisions. Not only can it be directed into tasks that require strictly human attention, but it also gives the opportunity to explore various work ideas and communicate more thoroughly with colleagues. This way, employment becomes less about meaningless robotic acts, but more about taking initiative and developing something new.
Another important factor is that artificial intelligence introduces many ways for people to explore their creativity. Should a person have more leisure time, they can allocate it towards numerous new hobbies and activities. Moreover, AI itself serves as a great tool, which might be purposed to write music, edit videos and photographs, work on one’s writing skills. It is a sensible use of AI that makes it an ally, not an enemy.
To conclude, even though there is a certain notion of AI being the destroyer of creativity, in my opinion it depends greatly on the approach of a certain individual. If used correctly, it might become a pragmatic way of schedule structuring, leading to freeing up more time, which can be used towards something meaningful and creative.
