It is true that nowadays, in many societies, younger and older people take less interest to interect with each other. There are several reasons associated with this trend and some important steps can be taken to address the matter.

On the one hand, there are numerous reasons why younger and elderly people have less social contact. First and foremost, one important reason is that advancement of modern technology. For example, at present, younger people spend their leisure time watching movies, plying computer games, making TikTok videos and chatting with their friends instead of spend time with their parents and grandparents.As a result, it may create distance between them and their relationships become weaker. Another significant factor is busy lifestyles. Most of the elderly people often busy with their professional and personal work and children are busy with their studies. Therefore they often have less time to communicate each other because after work or study they feel tired and go bed for sleep. Consequently, they feel isolated and stressed in their difficult times.

On the other hand, there are numerous way to solve the issues. To begin with, both the elder and younger people should limit the use of smartphones, especially in their leisure time. If they spend more time together, they can know each other fellings, emotions and can help when they face problems. As a consequence, it can help to reduce misunderstanding and live life together. Moreover, the government should organise community activities, when different generations can participated . For instance, the government can arrange cultural programmes, gardening activities and sports events, when elderly people and younger people can worh together. Consequently, it can create strong relationships and reduce generation gap.

To conclude, I can say that every problem has a solution, it is not incurable. Although this is very serious problem and can cause considerable damage, if individuals reduce their screen times and make more time to spend with their parents and grandparents, this problem could be solve within a period.
