In a world which has many jobs to choose today, gender becomes an important factor to separate the works of men and women. However, in my opinion, gender equality should be encouraged wherever possible.
First, there are some pros of letting either male or female working with a job. Some posts such as teacher, nurse, accountant, aesthetic, counselor,… involves nurturance, sensivity, gentleness, kind, emotional, etc. is paricularly for women. Effective evidence for this statement is the statistics of women working in these occupations. For instance, approximately 97% people works as a nursery nurse and assistants are female. On the other side, jobs require working with heavy, complicated machine will be suitable for men as they have strength and endurance.
Besides, in majority situations in modern times, it’s better to open occupations to both gender. With different characteristics, each gender can bring some distinct advantages for each post. For example, participation of women in the workforce help decreasing the percentage of unemployment and increase national economic output. And when men hold the position as a teacher, they probably can understand better the needs and abilities of young boys so as to be a good model for them. When population growth is rising until now, people should offer opportunities to male and female equally, so that the barrier of gender will be removed, and help more women to be treated fairly with men, make the society more civilized and developed.
Generally, letting the doors of chances open to male and female sounds may impossible, but by steps, we can do it in the far future. The most important way to benefit from this development is not to give similar amount of work to both genders.
