In recent years, urban areas have been significantly developed all over the world. Some people argued that living in big cities is bad for people’s health. While I agree with this statement to some extent, I believe that urban areas provide good educational and health care facilities.
On the one hand, individuals who live in cities may be prone to health problems due to the growing number of vehicles and industries, which may cause environmental problems. For instance, according to research, people who live in cities develop Asthma and chronic pulmonary diseases. Moreover, people do not get enough sleep and fresh oxygen. This means a larger number of vehicles causes noise and air pollution. As a result, people may suffer from health problems.
On the other hand, cities provide good education for children. This is because in urban areas, educational institutions are well constructed. For example, in cities, teachers are skilled in problem-solving and intellectual skills, which are essential during the matriculation level. As a result, the productivity and the students are placed in well-organized organizations. Additionally, urban areas provide better health care opportunities. For example, metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata in India provide well equipped facities and well- developed technologies to diagnose a disease and good laboratories. Therefore, individuals’ quality of life increases.
In conclusion, although the development of cities may cause health issues like Asthma and deprived sleep, urban areas have well -developed educational and better health care facilities, where people develop intellectual and developed skills.
