It is a common fact that some people in given country prefer to live and study during their university year in another city in hoping that they could get much more advantages. This essay will discuss whether dwell and study abroad could bring them many advantages than its disadvantages, or whether live and study in the home city also have the same chance.
Some people believe that they could cultivate independent character as well as enable them to learn new cultures by living and learning outside their home city. Therefore, I personally presume that for those of who living and studying in the home city also just as significant as living and studying in another city as long as they let themselves to always learn new things. For instance, you will never become independent and tolerant, despite you live and learn in a city which has a supportive educational environment, unless you have a strong intention to become one.
Furthermore, it is obvious that live and study in another city does not always guarantee the growth of independent as well as tolerant characteristic to a person. Become a person who is independent and tolerant is a choice, as people do not become independent or tolerant by coincidence. People can become independent by learning how to not depend everything on other people, yet they have to do it themselves. In addition, tolerant can be fostered by understanding the diversity around you. As a result, where ever you live and study does not prevent anybody to nurture independent and tolerant character.
In conclusion, people can get as much as advantages of education as they wish by attempting to achieve them. In that case, where ever you live and study, what makes you gain much benefits, it is depend on yourself.
