Band 4+: Young people do not spend their holidays or weekends doing outdoor activities like hiking and climbing in the natural environment. Why? What can be done to encourage them to go outside?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In this contemporary era, the young generation spend their leisure time indoors rather than outdoors, like walking or trip to mountains during their vacation. This tendency is increasing rapidly due to the digital abilities of social networks. However, such types of situations can be tackled by letting them know that without outdoor sports it is impossible to lead a healthy lifestyle

Most children have been growingly overwhelmed with online friends through various social network platforms, like TikTok, Instagram and suchlike. Researchers around the world have found that staying online and browsing the internet are considered as addiction to drugs, leaving the youngsters no time to have a new hobby with plenty of advantages. An eminent example is, children tend to play a sports game in their video console instead of doing some actions in nature

This appalling tendency can be improved, if parents make youngsters understand their habits of staying at home and not trying outdoor movements will bring a majority of damaging consequences to their life. In other words, if possible parents should show and give real examples of an unhealthy lifestyle. The point when children get a statement which proves that outdoor activities cannot be altered by indoor activities. Demonstrating the beneficial side of outdoor exercises is the best way to achieve and boost children’s interests to healthy habits

In conclusion, parents play a significant role in teaching children and can easily change the point of view of children to be direct in a true way
