Some people believe that the young generation is getting more information from the internet than from their teachers. Therefore, youth use the internet as the main source of information, which is more acceptable rather than asking questions to teachers.
On the one hand, teachers provide their students with the most accurate explanations of different topics. Therefore, there are some exceptions and different topics which are interesting to children that cannot be found on the internet. For example, teachers have their curriculum they follow , which is provided by the school and this gives students some information on the specific topic. Such topics might not be published on the internet and are unique. In this case, the only source of information for children is their teachers. Usually such unique topics are common in exact sciences such as mathematics, astronomy, and physics.
On the other hand, a lot of teachers give only narrow information that relates only to a topic which provides students with only information that teachers have in their curriculum. The internet is an extensive source of information which provides users with a lot of different themes which may relate to school subjects to life issues and sports questions. The variety of topics gives opportunities to young people to find considerable more information and expand their knowledge. In order to find some information on the internet we are not exerting any effort and it requires mere seconds to accomplish.
In conclusion, young people today often learn more from the internet and television than from traditional classroom teachers. It would be better if teachers gave the additional information without focusing on their curriculum.
