The topic of changing traffic rules has sparked recent debate and heightened controversy. I opine that imposing heavy tickets is a more apropos option due to certain social factors.
Conspicuously, since recent studies by York university, shows that there is a recent spike in the number of people violating the rules and ending up in major accidents. It would be better to be strict and collect heavy tickets to ensure that they do not make the same mistake. Furthermore, it would generate additional revenue to the police department, so that they can use it to improve transportation infrastructure. For example, police should cancel the license of the person who violates the rules more than 5 times.
Nevertheless, conducting regular traffic awareness programmes may server a valuable purpose. Due to this it may educate the residents about the rules and regulations need to followed while driving. Another indisputable fact is that, this will create comfortable and safe environment among everyone;
Based on the aforementioned reasoning, I still stand by my stance. That is scheduling is not a suited option considering the benefits from issuing tickets to the people who violate the rules.
