In today’s modern era, there are a lot of entertainment sources for people, especially children. So increasing number of children playing online games instead of the traditional ones. There are several benefits and disadvantages of playing online games.

There are quite a few advantages of playing online games. The main benefit is that children can find new friend from all corners of the world through online games. It can help them about other cultures and countries. For example, a game called PUBG downloaded nearly 900,000,000, especially by children. In that game children can communicate with each other and discuss about themselves. Another benefit is that online games can develop children’s strategic skills and also creative critical thinking skills. In the game they can discuss about how can they win their rivals and plan their movements. Moreover, playing games iis good way to reduce stress after a long rough day. So many children prefer playing games after their studies instead of doing exercise.

Despite several benefits, there are quite a lot notable drawbacks playing computer games. First of all, it can delay students academic success. For instance, students who play have addiction on online games perform less successful achievements than others. In addition, playing online games may have negative impact on children’s health both physically and mentally. Playing a lots of games without any exercises may lead to obesity. Another disadvantage is that it can be harmful children’s mental health and can lead diseases, such as insomnia, high blood pressure and etc.

In conclusion, despite playing computer games can offer to know about other cultures and improvements on their skills, disadvantages such as health problems are outweigh than benefits
