I didn’t have any trust or help and I leaving her behind for long hours didn’t feel right. Therefore, I made the painful decision to put my academic goals on hold and focus on raising my daughter. Honestly, it was heartbreaking because I had so many plans for my career. Nevertheless, deep down, I knew it was the right choice. My daughter is growing up wonderfully and I am proud that I was there for her during her early age. In the end, I didn’t regret my decision. Now that she is older, I have started preparing to go back to my studies. To sum up, it was a difficult decision because it involved sacrificing something important to me, but motherhood taught me the value of selfless love and patience.
