It is true that primary schooling is essential for children who reach the required age level so as to mould their characters. While there are differing opinions on this matter, I firmly believe that school serves as the ideal launching pad for this.
It could be argued that home learning allows small children to study in familiar surroundings and spend time with their loved ones. This is because the parents are inclined to think that home education is more effective, as their children are always having a peaceful mindset and experiencing a comfortable learning environment when they are with them. In addition, there is no chance for children to encounter situations such as school bullying. This is obvious because parent’s home is the safest place in the world for children. Hence, there is no way for strangers to behave aggressively intending to hurt the kids. These are the reasons why many individuals believe that home-based education lays a strong foundation.
However, I believe school-based education is the ideal place for children due to several prime reasons. One of which is that it ensures a balanced learning process since it is provided by the professionally qualified teachers. Therefore, children are able to experience a quality education within a scientifically developed system, which ultimately gives rise to their personal developments. Furthermore, due to the collaborative learning environment, it provides greater opportunity to learners to acquire new abilities that were not available when they were born. As a result of interacting with many students, each of them is enabled to learn from one another. Ultimately, this would result in developing new skills that are not possible within isolated learning environments.
In conclusion, it is fair to say that being free of school harassment and learning within a familiar environment provide children with enjoyable learning opportunities. On the other hand, I believe qualified learning techniques and interactive learning improve children’s hidden skills. These are the reasons why I believe school education is the ideal place for learning.
