The diagram illustrates how to recycle aluminium cans. Overall, It is clear that there are seven steps in the recycling procedure, beginning with the gathering of discarded cans and ending with newly recycled products.
In the initial stage, used cans are collected from various sources in preparation for the recycling process. Once the cans are gathered, they are then transported to a recycling plant where they are cleaned thoroughly to remove any impurities, such as dirt, grease, and other contaminants. Next, the cans are shredded into smaller pieces and then crushed in a special machine to reduce their size and make them easier to handle.
Regarding the recycling process, these small portions are then heated to extremely high temperatures, melted to form molton liquid. After being heated, the aluminium is solidified and flattened into individual rolls that range in thickness from 2.5 to 6 mm. Subsequently, this rolled up aluminium is used to create new drink cans. Once they are made, they are ready to be filled with beverages and distributed to consumers. After that, the whole cycle is ready to start again.
