Some individuals opine that, school should give assignment to students, whereas others argue that it is not that much necessary for students. This essay will discuss both perspectives and provide my own opinion.
There are a number of reasons why homework should be given by school. One possible reason might be time management. Homework actually helps a student to learn about time management because they have to finish their assignment before deadline, which can give a propere knowledge of time and teaches them the value of time. Moreover, managing time reinforces students’ discipline. As a result, students go to school every day and reach the school before the school gate has been turned closed. Furthermore, time management also helps them in exam hall. For instance, in exam, there is a time limitation of time. So pupils have to complete their paper before the exam time has been ended.
On the other hand, some individuals believe that homework is no longer necessary for students. The reason behind it is excessive homework can lead to stress for many pupils, which can lead to mental health complications. Additionally, sometimes students never get free time to go outside, which can hamper their mental health. Studies have shown that those students who are too busy with their homework, they suffer from social anxiety, which can lead to lots of stress.
I believe that homework should be given by school because it has its own benefits. But it would be in moderation to ensure that it will not make any harmful effect on a student’s life.
In conclution, though homework can strengthen student’s time management skill, it also has some bad consequences like stress in student’s life. So, moderation is the key to resolve this problem.
