The two maps indicate the changes in an island after it has undergone the construction of several tourist facilities. Overall, while numerous places of interest have been built on the island during the transformation, the property of the island, such as the trees, has been preserved.
Before the revolution, no place for tourism purposes was built on the island. These days, the reception has been constructed in the central part of the island and opposite the restaurant. The island also witnessed the appearance of residential areas with more houses to the west and east of the island. Moreover, the transport system has improved with the expansion of footpaths, vehicle tracks, and a pier built to the south of the sea, which has allowed for yacht access to the island.
Besides, the trees on the island have remained compared to before the tourist facilities were constructed. Furthermore, the beach has still remained and been used for swimming.
