One of the most unforgettable vacations I have ever had was a trip to Kyoto, Japan, which I took about two years ago. I went with a close group of friends from the university. There were four of us in total. We had been planning the trip for four months as a post-graduation celebration. Kyoto is a harmonious blend of traditional culture and natural beauty completely captivated me. During the week-long vacation, we visited countless shrines and temples, including the Akon-Difusimi in Aroi’s front with thousands of familiar tour guides. We also spent a day cycling through Iwasi-Yama-Bamboo, Gouf, and Viti-Oryuken, a tradition of Japanese in where we got to wear Yukata’s and enjoy a Boutique course, Kaseki meal. One of the highlights was participating in the tea ceremony led by a local tea master. It wasn’t just about drinking tea, it was about slowing down, appreciating subterranean roots and embracing mindfulness. I had never experienced anything like it before. What made the vacation so memorable wasn’t just the itching itself, but the emotional significance behind it. It marked the end of a chapel in our lips and the beginning of a new one. We went more deeply during the trip and to this day, we often reminisced about it, the serene beauty of Kyoto, competing with a sense of freedom, and celebration made it a truly one in a lifetime experience for me.
