One of the most memorable trips I have ever taken was to Samarkand. I had to reach the city in Uzbekistan. I went there with my family during the summer holidays last year. It was a short trip, just for three days, but it left a lasting impression on me. We visited many famous landmarks such as Registan Square, Shah-i-Zinda, and Bibikhanum Mosque. The architecture was absolutely stunning. The colorful tiles and detailed patterns were unlike anything I had seen before. Besides sightseeing, we also tried traditional Uzbek food like Plov and Shashlik, which was really delicious. What made this trip truly unforgettable was the combination of rich history, culture, and spending quality time with my loved ones. Also, it was the first time I saw those places in person after reading about them in school. That sense of connection to my country's heritage and experience was very meaningful to me.
