The diagram below illustrates the main nine stages involved in producing fabric from bamboo, starting from planting bamboo to creating the final clothing products.
Overall, the process begins with the cultivation of the bamboo in spring and ends with the production of fabric items like shirts and sock. It includes mechanical procedures such as cutting, crushing, and filtering as well as chemical treatment to soften the fibres.
First step is bamboo plants are grown in the spring and harvested in the autumn. After harvesting, the bamboo cut into strips and then strips crushed to make the liquid pulp, In the next stage, crushed material is filtered to separate long fibres from the liquid.
Following this fibres are softened using a mixture of water and amine oxide. Once softened, the fibres are spun to create yarn. In the final stage the yarn is woven into fabric. which is then used to manufactured products.
