The given bar graph gives information about the amount spent on Drugs and Alcohol during the period 1975 to 1992. It can be seen from the graph that money spent on alcohol consumption is higher then drugs at all the time.
It is shown in the chart around $140 spent on alcohol in 1975 to 1977. Suddenly it jumped to $181 in 1980 then dropped drastically to $100 in 1985. Surprisingly people again rose to $142 in 1992.
In regards to money spent on drugs , it was in between $37 to $42 from 1975 to next two years . but in 1980 money spent on drugs reaches its peak at $100 then dropped to $64 in 1985.It increased sharpy again to $99 in 1992.
It is evident from the Graph that 1980 was the year when maximum amount of money was spent on alcohol and drugs . from 1980 onwards there is huge fluctuation on dollar spent on both items to given period on time .
